This is an Online Intranet Website of Central Road Research Institute. As the name specifies “ONLINE COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” is a website developed for managing various activities related to complaints in the CRRI. For the past few years the technology is increasing rapidly. Thereby the numbers of complaints related to Computer, Laptop, Scanner and Printer are also increasing. And hence there is a lot of strain on the persons who are resolving the CRRI Complaints and software are not usually used in this context. This particular project deals with the problems on managing complaints and avoids some problems which occur when carried manually. Identification of the drawbacks of the existing system leads to the designing of computerized system that will be compatible to the existing system. With the system which is more users friendly and more GUI oriented, we can improve the efficiency of the system, thus overcome the drawbacks of the existing system.

1.1 PROBLEM DEFINITION
There are so many Problems occurred in CRRI related to Computer, Laptop, Scanner and Printer. These complaints at present are managed manually by the Head-CCN. The Registration of complaints is done manually. And hence there is a lot of strain on the person who are solving the complaints and software.s are not usually used in this context. There are lot many other problems which are being faced when complaints are managed manually. Some of them are as mentioned below:
· Increased chances of human error
· Less secure
· Data redundancy
· Data inconsistency
· Difficult to handle
· Data updating difficult
· Difficult record keeping
1.3 STUDY OF EXISTING SYSTEM
In CRRI, without a management system all the things have to be done manually. The Registration of complaints is done manually. Thus there are a lot of repetitions which can be easily avoided. Identification of the drawbacks of the existing system leads to the designing of computerized system that will be compatible to the existing system with the system which is more users friendly and more GUI oriented. We can improve the efficiency of the system, thus overcome the drawbacks of the existing system.
Online Complaint Management System gives on idea about how the Users details, Machine details, Complaint details are maintained in the particular concern. Thecomplaint management systemalso includes some special features like report facility for Displaying/Printing complaints complaint wise, Employee ID wise, Division wise. The administration has the unique identity for each members as well as users details. The modules of this project are Admin details, Users details, Head-CCN details, IT- Engineers details, Division details, etc modules.
