Abstracts: In this era the labour is the prime most headaches of all the big and small scale industries. So each and every entrepreneur is now thinking about the solution of such problem. The automation is the recent new trend of any industry which will partly or fully solve such kind of labour problems with the lots of new facilities involvement. Person can fully run his plant with remote operation with full flange facilities. Using automation we get reliable output. Because of automation the requirement of labours is less. Loss in the manufacturing process is less due to automatic controlling. Continuous monitoring of all the equipments is possible. This project is based on the integrated automation using PLC & SCADA. Cement is one of the oldest building materials around, its production process is a mix of traditional chemistry and hi-tech equipment to make the cement used in homes, hospitals and schools around the world. Cement is typically made from limestone and clay or shale. These raw materials are extracted from the quarry crushed to a very fine powder and then blended in the proportions. This blended raw material is called the ‘raw feed’ or ‘kiln feed’ and is heated in a rotary kiln. The raw feed enters the kiln at the cool end and gradually passes down to the hot end, then falls out of the kiln and cool down. The material for made in the kiln is described as ‘clinker’. After cooling, the clinker may be stored temporarily in a clinker store, or it may pass directly to the cement mill. The cement mill grinds the clinker to a fine powder. A small amount of gypsum –a form of calcium sulfate –is normally ground up with the clinker. The gypsum controls the setting properties of the cement when water is added
