Abstract:
Man has needed and used energy at an increasing rate for his sustenance and well-being, ever since he came on the earth a few millions year ago. Due to this a lot of energy resources have been exhausted proposal. For the utilization of waste energy of wind with trains is very much relevant and important for the busiest railways, subways like Japan, India, China. Where the railways stations are overcrowded and millions of people travels around the clock. This whole bio energy being wasted, if can be made for utilization it will be great invention and crowded energy farms will be very useful energy sources in crowded countries. In this project we are generating electrical power by simply installing a device “T BOX” between the sleepers on a track and as the train passes overhead, the wind drives a turbine to generate electricity through the wind produced by passing trains may only come in short burst. Installing them along a busy route should result in a decent amount of energy being produced. The “T BOX” device would not depend on a natural energy source but the persons living near railway tracks will tell you speeding trains generate quite a bit of wind as they whoosh past. This project uses the conversion of wind energy into electrical energy by a “T BOX” wind power generator. Experimentally it has been tested that about 150 of these devices could be installed along 1km of tracks and a train speeds along the turbine inside the device would generate electricity.
