Abstracts: “Green Environment, Green Energy, Green House” all these terms have become the need of the hour. Pollution, Global warming, and the need for alternate energy sources have forced man to search for new energy sources. In such a situation, Atmospheric Vortex Engine (AVE), is a cost effective alternate source for production of energy, specifically green energy. AVE is primarily a concept of generating a tornado using warm or humid air in a confined space (but with an open top) and thereby converting the mechanical energy into the electrical energy. The Thermodynamics related to this concept is that, it is needed to develop at least 20 deg C temperature differences between the lower and the upper end of the vortex. This work focuses on creating a conceptual design and then analysing it using appropriate software’s. Thereafter, creating a prototype according to the design (which will be at-least sufficient enough to light a bulb of 40 W) and thus creating a cost effective solution.
