Abstracts: Generally when monochloro acetic acid is formed from chlorination of acetic acid using sulphur monochloride as catalyst. after the reaction which is produce a monochloro acetic acid (90-95%)which contains dichloro acetic acid, trichloro acetic acid and water (2-8%). For the reason of that dichloro and trichloro acetic acid formed with product monochloro acetic acid which is reduce to improve the quality of M.C.A and get better benefits which is used in chemical or other industries. Our next step is improve that quality of monochloro acetic acid.
