STATIONERY SHOP
Introduction
The project requires a computerized system that will ensure sufficient stock level of items and determine when to order new stock. The system will allow the manger to target the marketing of products to specific customers based on their previous purpose.
The manager is to have overall control of the system but the sales staff will be responsible for updating all records as new customers are added, make new purchase and as new stock is delivered.
Report 1
The shop manager requires as monthly list of the total number of items purchased, by stock item, listing number sold, purchase price and total payment received for each stock item.
Program specification report 1
In this report, the program is supposed to read a file of monthly list of stock item in a stationery shop. The list will include; the serial number, the number sold, the purchase price, stock item and the payment received. For instance, some of the item in the shop would not have been sold when the list is generated. The program is supposed also to read if there is such an issue. Payment received should be accessed through multiplying the number sold by the purchase price of the item.
