WHAT IS SSI?
An industrial undertaking in which an investment in fixed assets, plant and machinery doesn’t cross Rs 10 million is treated as SSI unit.

ROLLING PLAN
(1978-80)
There were two plans-one by Janta Govt(78-83) and by the congress Govt when it returned to power in 1980.
Janta plan is also called the ROLLING PLAN.
Employment potential in agriculture, encouragement to household and ssi producing goods for consumption and to raise incomes of lowest income classes through minimum needs program.
