Abstracts: This report present basic knowledge about the study area. An urban town-planning scheme of GUDA is taken as a case study. The need for the augmentation of the storm water drainage network of the city is investigated followed by in depth analysis and planning. This report presents the literature review and the scope of the exiting work and objective. It is also describe the methodology of the future work. It is in the algorithm form. The catchment area of GUDA is 389 square kilometer. The rate of infrastructure development is high. The basic amenities like storm water drainage, sewer drainage and water supply network play a vital role in deciding a city’s infrastructure. In the study area at present no existing storm water drainage system so there is a need of novel design of storm water network design. The rainfall in GUDA area occurs mainly in the monsoon season from June to September. The future design is based on the rainfall data observed in past 36 years. The outfalls of the system will direct to River Sabarmati. In this report also the detail storm water network design of GUDA TP 20. Rational method is used for the storm water runoff calculation. In this storm water network design two outfall of storm water in the River Sabarmati. The all storm water network with the line map diagram of storm water network with the diameter of pipe and the ground level with invert level of the node are shown in the map.
