OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT
• Gas Entrapment is the major problem in which industry has to face this problem every and many times. Due to this faults industry suffering from below troubles:-
i. When this problem occurs industry should stop their production and due to this delay in production.
ii. A Polyurethane is costly. Due to much cost industry has to pay losses.
iii. During the production, if this problem takes place there is waste of material.
PLASTIC INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE PROCESS
One of the most common methods of converting plastics from the raw material form to an article of use is the process of injection moulding. This versatile process allows us to produce high quality, simple or complex components on a fully automated basis at high speed with materials that have changed the face of manufacturing technology over the last 50 years or so.Widely used for manufacturing a variety of parts, from the smallest component to entire body panels of cars.
Working principle of plastic injection moulding machine:-
Injection Moulding Machine working principle is similar to the Syringe. Learning injection moulding machine working principle will be great helpful to the production. Injection moulding machines working principle is make full use of thermo plasticity. After the plastic heated and melting, injection molding machine inject with high pressure to push the plastic flow in the mould, then holding the pressure and cooling, various kinds of plastic products was made by the injection molding machine working together with plastic moulds. Injection molding is a circle progress, every circle main include: ration load plastic, melting, pressure and inject, cooling, demoulding. After pick out the product, mould, close and entering another circle.
SOLUTION OF DEFECT(GAS ENTRAPMENT)
Gas Entrapment is a situation that occurs when air is trapped inside the die or a product. It is major problem of plastic injection moulding product. It cause some problems in production like waste of material, increase time of production, increase production cost etc. So it is necessary to reduce these defects from production of plastic moulds and increase production ratio.
CONCLUSION
• After detail study of plastic injection moulding products and its various defects we find GAS ENTRAPMENT is majorly occurring problem in plastic injection moulding product reason of this defect is moisture contain in plastic grains. We remove this defect by two different method and find that installing Hopper Dryer is permanent solution of this defect. After this we conclude benefits of installing Hopper Dryer in injection unit.
