Let see what is it
From very beginning of our human race we have been surviving on the data which we collect from our basic 5 sense
But now as we are more advance let us design our own sense which can help us to take much better design
Who did this Magic
This great invention was done by Pranav Mistry, a PhD student in the fluid interfaces group at the MIT media lab.
He hails from Palanpur, Gujarat. He did his B-tech in Computer science. He graduated as Masters of Design from IIT Bombay and Masters of Media Arts and Sciences from MIT Media Lab. Before joining Media Lab, he worked with Microsoft. At present, He is a PhD student and Researcher at MIT Media Lab.
What is it all about
Although miniaturized versions of computers help us to connect to the digital world even when we are on move, there aren’t any device as of now which gives a direct link between the digital world and our physical interaction with the real world. Usually the information’s are stored traditionally on a paper or a digital storage device. Sixth sense technology helps to bridge this gap between tangible and non-tangible world.
Sixth Sense device is basically a wearable gestural interface that connects the physical world around us with digital information and lets us use natural hand gestures to interact with this information. It’s a way to make the digital world to learn our way.
Advantages
Portable
Multi touch
Cost effective
Easier data access from digital world
Open source software
CONCLUSION
The sixth sense recognizes the objects around us and displays the information relating to those objects in a real time environment.
It allows the user to interact the information through hand gestures.
