Abstracts: This project is mainly divided in two parts. First part of this project is about study of different machines being manufactured by KHS Machinery Pvt. Ltd. And the second part is about productivity improvement of Bottle Washer machine by Lean Six Sigma Methodology. In this part of this project, extensive research has been carried by the team within company to identify the problems which are being faced by the workers and people associated with manufacturing activities. Also interaction with them gives idea about affecting parameters due to such problems. Lean Six Sigma Methodology has been proceed with the help of tools like Kaizen and 5Ss. And implementation of the same was based on DMAIC principle. By following DMAIC principle, different phased were carried considering a case study based on company. During which many different problems were identified, analysed and the best suitable solution was implemented for that particular solution. This resulted in significant improvement of process compared to conventional process. Thus it is observed that the Lean Six Sigma has subsequently become one of the most popular process improvement methodologies of all time. Lean Six Sigma can support near term, local, cost reduction opportunities, it enables transformational change that provides competitive advantage, beyond cost, especially once the enterprise emerges from the downturn. Lean Six Sigma helps stabilize process and makes them more predictable; it reduces order lead times and improves fulfilment rates; it uncovers what is truly valued by the customer.
