Key Outlet The Key outlet makes through the Punching Machine. The Sheets of Brass is used here. These sheets fed into the Punching machine and through the die these sheets are formed into the shape of outlet of the Key and then further processes are used to design it 2. Key Slotting In this process Slotting Machine is used for making grooves into the key. CNC Slotting Machine is also used for this process. Keys are hold into the Holding device and step by step grooving operation is done on each key according to the design of the key. 3. Key Bitting In this process the Keys are designed according to different numbers, so that they should not match each other at any way. CNC Bitting machine is used for designing the Keys according to functions and Locks operated by that keys. Bitting Machine is simply a Milling machine having both side cutters. They form the design of the key which is different from each other and from that key Locks are made . After that Moulding process is done on it. 4. Key Plating After all the operations of manufacturing of Key, the Key is coated with the Nickel. So that it should be protected from wear and tear and many other problems that may cause damage to the key. During the process proper Inspection is running. 1. Moulding Molding or moulding is the process of manufacturing by shaping liquid or pliable raw material using a rigid frame called a mold or matrix. This itself may have been made using a pattern or model of the final object. Injection Moulding Injection moulding is a manufacturing process for producing parts by injecting material into a mould. Injection moulding can be performed with a host of materials, including metals, glasses, elastomers, confections, and most commonly thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers. Material for the part is fed into a heated barrel, mixed, and forced into a mold cavity where it cools and hardens to the configuration of the cavity.[1]:240 After a product is designed, usually by an industrial designer or an engineer, moulds are made by a mouldmaker (or toolmaker) from metal, usually either steel or aluminum, and precision-machined to form the features of the desired part. Injection moulding is widely used for manufacturing a variety of parts, from the smallest components to entire body panels of cars. SHAPING MACHINE A shaping machine is used to machine surfaces. It can cut curves, angles and many other shapes. It is a popular machine in a workshop because its movement is very simple although it can produce a variety of work. MILLING MACHINE A milling machine is a power driven machine that cuts by means of a multi-tooth rotating cutter. The mill is constructed in such a manner that the fixed work piece is fed into the rotating cutter. Varieties of cutters and holding devices allow a wide range of cutting possibilities.
