The job of T&P Management System is a unique task that involves talking into consideration many features of the same. Existing system has bottleneck looked upon by TPO’s and student of any college. Size of collection of student’s records may be very large. To handle such a large collection of records is a great overhead. It is very over heading task to arrange records according to various streams, match them with the company’s requirement. Students can’t modify their records themselves and if there is any updation or modification in any records, they have to inform it to T&P Management System and get it updated. It is a time consuming activity of managing, updating and informing specific student for specific company requirements. It takes a lot of space for storage of records and other information regarding companies. Formally technical process used to investigate and measure quality of the developed computer software in terms of correctness, completeness and security. It is imperative to test the software components and the software as a whole for integrity, capability, reliability, efficiency, portability, maintainability, compatibility and usability of the software. This is particularly important in an operating environment where it is planned to be implemented, and testing will need to adhere to the technical requirements. Thus there was a need of such a system which maintains the database efficiently of an individual student. Thus it helps to integrate all information in single software system, to increase operating efficiency, Information Management & to evaluate the students for recruitment process. Technology Used Training & Placement Management System is built in .net Technology with VB as frontend and sql server 2005 as backend database. .NET technology was introduced by Microsoft, to catch the market from the SUN's Java. Visual Basic .NET (VB.NET) is an object-oriented computer language that can be viewed as an evolution of Microsoft’s Visual Basic (VB) implemented on the Microsoft .NET framework. Microsoft .NET Framework is a software component that is a part of several Microsoft Windows operating systems. It has a large library of pre-coded solutions to common programming problems and manages the execution of programs written specifically for the framework. The .NET Framework is a key Microsoft offering and is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows platform. The pre-coded solutions that from the framework’s Base class Library cover a large range of programming needs in a number of areas, including user interface, data access, database connectivity, cryptography, web application development, numeric algorithms, and network communications. The class library is used by programmers who combine it with their own code to produce applications. Present Working System • In various institutes & colleges, training and placement officers have to manage the CV’s and documents of students for their training and placement manually. • TPO’s have to collect the information of various companies who want to recruit students and notify students time to time about them. • TPO’s have to arrange CV’s of students according to various streams and notify them according to company requirements. • If any modifications or updations are required in records of any student, it has to searched and to be done it manually. Life Cycle Model The Spiral Model The spiral model is an evolutionary software process model that couples the iterative nature of prototyping with the controlled and systematic aspects of the liner sequential model. It provides the potential for rapid development of incremental versions of the software. Using the spiral model, software is developed in a series of incremental releases. During early iterations, the incremental release might be a paper model or prototype. During later ite4rations, increasingly more complete version of the engineered system is produced. A spiral model is divided into a number of framework activities, also called task regions. There are between three and six task regions. Figure depicts a spiral model that contains six task regions. Team Structure We have used team structure that is called as Democratic Team Structure. Democratic Team structure is used by the members, wherein there is no Supreme and all members are at the same level. It is characterized by everyone being peer, or equal in another way. A democratic team has no permanent leader, so all roles rotate freely throughout the development of the project. The organizational structure of a democratic team is a regular polygon. This allows for great flexibility, but also demands a very skilled team. Software Engineering Approach System/information engineering and modeling: It is because software is always part of a larger system (or business), work begins by establishing requirements for all system elements and then allocating some subset of these requirements to software. This system view is essential when software must interact with other elements such as hardware, people, and databases. System engineering and analysis encompass requirements gathering at the system level with a small amount of top level design and analysis. Information engineering encompasses requirements gathering at the strategic business level and at the business area level. Software requirement analysis: The requirements gathering process is intensified and focused specifically on software. To understand the nature of the program(s) to be built, the software engineer ("analyst") must understand the information domain for the software, as well as required function, behavior, performance, and interface. Requirements for both the system and the software are documented and reviewed with the customer.

Many parts of the world are reeling under unemployment of greatest magnitude, USA is not exception to this crisis, rather in some point of views USA is facing greater threat of unemployment then yester years. The services of different agencies delivering employment solutions through recruitment training are the crying needs of the day. With the proper and effective training, supported by result oriented learning experience the needs of recruitments of many youth can be solved.

It can be designed for saving students’ details along with marks and additional qualifications. An event calendar shows various scheduled activities by placement cell. Company employer will be registered with an unique ID with the TNP. Economic expenses are also computed. EXISTING SYSTEM The existing system contains students record management with online placement examination module using ASP.NET as front-end and back-end as Ms-Access/ My Sql/Oracle. Does not contain module for financial analysis related to various vendors. PROPOSED SYSTEM The proposed system gives the economic statistics of a placement cell. This helps to know the total investment for a particular vendor for a particular batch or individual student. It provides the details of the company that will be recruiting and the college details which conducts off-campus.
