The system operates by receiving user step-by-step motor control instructions via an SMS message. Our system consists of a GSM modem along with micro-controller and motor controller to control the motor. Once the user sends an SMS message, it is received by the receiver of the gsm modem. The modem does not send this message to the micro-controller. The micro-controller decrypts the message and checks the command. Based on the command received, the micro-controller sends a command signal to the motor controller IC. The motor driver now drives the stepper motor according to the received signal. Here we provide the user with commands to operate the motor as needed from a distance. By integrating GSM technology into it, we allow the system to be used over long distances as desired. Our project brings forward an approach to run stepper engines with ease.

The controller receives the message and decodes it and identifies the task to be performed. To control the operation of the DC motor (speed and direction), we must send only one SMS in a particular format, as soon as the SMS is received by the micro-controller; It looks for the particular SMS data and controls the engine accordingly.
In the kit, the control message of the DC-controlled DC motor is displayed on the LCD screen for the same (Optional). In the interface part of the motor will need a DC motor and L293D IC to connect the motor with the micro-controller. Any message that is displayed can be sent by SMS anywhere. To control the motor, the motor controller is used. The motor controller is interconnected between the micro-controller and the motor. The motor speed is controlled by PWM.
