Today, given the fast moving world scene, especially in large cities many services are delayed due to traffic jams. Ambulance service is one of the crucial services that are frequently delayed. Also sometimes doctors are not available. So the patient does not receive medical attention immediately. To overcome this situation, this document describes a solution that is "intelligent ambulance with traffic control", which includes intelligent traffic control as well as a health surveillance system. In the health monitoring system, the patient's vital parameters such as ECG, heart rate and body temperature are monitored. For ECG measurement, a 2-conductor electrode electrocardiogram technique is used. The heart rate measurement is performed by the photoplethysmography method. LM-35 is used to measure the patient's body temperature. These parameters are sent to a PC by ambulance via serial communication and this data will be sent to the hospital server. In the traffic control part, an RF transmitter in the ambulance will communicate with the RF receiver mounted on the signal pole. An algorithm is used to control traffic signals automatically based on the key pressed by the driver from the keyboard in the ambulance.
In the world's global health hazards are a major concern. Especially the people in the older group are the victims, and in addition traffic conditions are getting worse day by day, resulting in traffic jams.
Many important jobs are delayed due to these traffic jams. Support service is one of the important services that gets affected by traffic jams. To solve this problem we have reached the solution of "intelligent ambulance with automatic traffic control".
Here we are tracking the patient's health conditions. Health parameters such as heart rate, body temperature, blood pressure and blood level are sent to the hospital using the on-board GSM unit. All these parameters are displayed in the hospital unit on a PC with the help of basic visual s / w.
Simultaneously if in all the Ambulance it finds the taffic jam in the route, the driver is provided with the remote to control the traffic signals. The particular signal turns green for some time and after the ambulance passes, it regains its original flow of signaling sequence.
