, The automatic irrigation system has experienced rapid growth in terms of technology. At present the technology of cost savings, labor saving are the solution of key problems in irrigation. This article reviews these systems based on existing technologies and also proposes an economical and generic automatic irrigation system based on wireless sensors with GSM-Bluetooth for irrigation system controller and remote monitoring system. This system has simpler features designed with the objective of low cost and efficient with less power consumption using sensors for remote monitoring and control of devices that are controlled through SMS using a GSM module. A Bluetooth module is also interconnected with the main microcontroller chip. This Bluetooth module eliminates usage burdens when communicating with devices via Bluetooth when the application is in a limited range of a few meters. The system informs the user of any abnormal conditions such as lower humidity and temperature increase, including CO2 concentration via SMS from the GSM module or by Bluetooth module to the farmer's mobile phone and actions are taken accordingly by the farmer. In the future, the farmer will be able to monitor and control the parameter using GSM and Bluetooth technologies.

Remote monitoring is an effective method to avoid environmental interference and improve efficiency. Today, the Ethernet network, the RF module and the zigbee wireless network are used to transmit data in the remote monitoring system. Zigbee is a wireless network with a special agreement. It is high cost, difficult to develop and limited signal coverage. While WSN does deliver the substantial cabling costs, Zigbee WSN technologies are best suited for agricultural applications that compare to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
