The automation center recognizes voice commands and uses low-power, relatively cheap ZigBee RF wireless communication modules. The home automation system is designed to control all lights and electrical appliances in a home or office using voice commands. The zigbee can receive the voice and send the voice data to the ARM9 controller and then the controller converts the voice into the required format and then resends the data through the zigbee to the other zigbee and to the microcontroller where the devices are connected. Based on the message you received, you enable or disable the devices.
In recent years, the domestic environment has seen a rapid introduction of the network enabled digital technology. This technology offers new and exciting opportunities to increase the connectivity of devices inside the house for the purpose of home automation. In addition, with the rapid expansion of the Internet, there is the added potential for remote control and monitoring of such network-enabled devices. However, the adoption of home automation systems has been slow. This document identifies the reasons for this slow adoption and assesses ZigBee's potential to address these issues through the design and implementation of a flexible home automation architecture. A home automation system based on ZigBee and a Wi-Fi network are integrated through a common domestic gateway. The home gateway provides network interoperability, a simple and flexible user interface, and remote system access. A dedicated virtual house is implemented to satisfy the safety and security needs of the system. To demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed system, four devices, a light switch, a radiator valve, a safety sensor and a ZigBee remote control with the home automation system have been developed and evaluated.
