These are best suited for 24 hour continuous process plants where disruptions due to fluctuation results in heavy financial losses occur. A stabilizer in this role is the unbalanced system because most industries use unbalanced load. A stabilizer in this paper has five main parts. They are variable autotransformer, load-lifting transformer, contactor, servomotor and electronic control circuit. The main implementation of this document is the design of variable autotransformer and buck-boost transformer. Three identical 20 kVA automatic voltage stabilizers are required to obtain an automatic voltage stabilizer of 60 kVA. Therefore, the rating of 20 kVA is designed. This stabilizer will operate within the fluctuation range of 130 V to 250 V.
Many types of voltage stabilizers are available in the market. In these stabilizers the output is manually changed with the switch to keep the output voltage constant. During the peak period, this manual operation of the stabilizer has to be done frequently. These devices are executed manually or automatically. There are many problems developed in the line voltage such as distortion, fluctuation, heating, noise, accuracy, power, short circuit and voltage etc. range. To eliminate or reduce these problems, the proposed system presents a servo voltage stabilizer with isolation transformer to get accurate and harmonic waveform containing less stable voltage.
