JKC stands for Jawahar Knowledge Center. JKC is an innovative and pioneering initiative that attracts top students from across the state providing them with world-class infrastructure and opportunities to apply their knowledge to challenging problems.
goals
• Promote the Industry Interaction
• To provide training through industry and academic experts in close interaction to produce graduates easily employable.
• Ensure that the socially and economically challenged sectors of society are proportionally represented in IT / ITES employment.
• Monitor and review the training process by the panel of experts. Provide a conducive environment for learning by doing at universities.
• Empower students living in rural areas to bridge the rural urban divide.
• Conduct research and apply these fruitful results to the benefit of society.
• Develop and implement e-government applications cost-effectively.
Industry and JKC
• With the aim of producing quality human resources for the nation, JKC joins Infosys Campus Connect initiatives to deploy the Foundation (FP) in 50 engineering colleges for around 1400 students.
• Infosys hosted ASPIRATIONS 2020 (a competition to test students' skills in various skills such as problem solving, etc.) through JKCs.
• Collaboration with IBM to organise IBM-Great Mind Challenge, through which students and teacher awareness workshops are organised at JKC state universities.
• Oracle has been introduced to share its tools and software with the university and students registered with JKC.
• Microsoft has agreed to grant free software access to all JKC students. In addition, Microsoft learning centres will be established in selected JKCs.
2011 Information available.
Mandatory for all JKC 2011 passes to appear in the 2 online assessment tests organised by JKC in order to gain eligibility to participate in any of JKC's recruiting events.
The first screening test is open for candidates from December 18, 2010 until January 1, 2010, so you can log on to your respective account test portal and attend the test accordingly. Please follow the instructions below to take the test
Note: Please note that this test is not to select candidates for any recruitment process. It is to give students the opportunity to evaluate their performance on their own before they appear or any actual recruiting event so they can work in the areas where they are lagging behind.
1.Connect with your JKC UserID account and password in the evaluation test portal.
2. Once connected you will get a menu,
Please select Services - & Exam Overview from the menu and click on it.You will get the instructions page.
3. On the instructions page, if you click the Take Test button, your role will be generated.
Note: Paper generation will take some time. Please be patient and do not close the window or do not update the window or do not click the browser back button during the generation of the paper.
4.Once the generated paper, please check that you are having 60 questions and a shipping button at the bottom of the examination paper.
5.Response all questions by selecting the appropriate radio buttons and send the document.
Note: Once you submit the exam and if you get Marks, it means that the article was sent correctly, otherwise you can re-enter to check the status of your exam.
6. As you write the exam if the power fails or the system shut down then you have to take the test the first time again. To do this, log in again to check the status of your paper.
