Introduction
What Is An Artificial Sand?...
Its Crushed Stone Dust Use As A Fine Aggregate.
Why Its Used In Construction?...
In Concrete Construction Material Aggregates Contribute About 70-80% Of Volume Of Concrete.
India, Demand Huge Quantity Of Natural Sand For Concrete.
Artificial sand
A.E Ahemad studied the ordinary stone dust obtained from crushers to not comply with IS 838-1979. present of flaky, badly graded and rough textured particles result in fresh concrete for design parameters.
Introduction of modern scientifically the operated crushers provided better prospects to manufacture sand by utilizing the stone chips in the size range of 2 to 6mm.
The raw material is transferred to jaw crusher for primary crushing by vibrating feeder, then the crushed materials whose size is larger than 40 mm are transferred to vsi crusher through belt conveyor for secondary crushing. The materials crushed will be transferred to the vibrating screen. The materials with suitable size will be transferred to vsi crusher, after being washed by sand washers, then clean final products will be discharged. The others with unsuitable size will be screened from vibrating screen, then will be transferred to the vsi crusher, this forms a closed circuit manifold cycles. Sizes of final products will be according to our customers' requirements. If it is the dry process, the classifier and deduster will be attached according to you requirement.
Drying shrinkage
This study presents the drying shrinkage measurement on conventional concrete as well as Quarry Rock Dust concrete. Shrinkage - measuring device (length comparator) conforming to the specification of IS: 4031-1988 was used for measuring length changes of concrete specimens.
The prismatic test specimens of size 75 x 75 x 305mm with the gauge length between the stainless steel gauge studs, as 250mm were prepared. Figure shows the drying shrinkage strain plotted against the age, in days.
