Abstracts: Structure in the civil point of view is very important to be in proper design and detailing so that maximum benefit can be achieved by the people. The main aim of this project is to reduce the foundation cost of structure with help of varying value of axial load of column. In this project first of all to make the hostel building plan and then after to decided the position and orientation of column and then auto cad drawing is convert into STAAD PRO. with the help of coordinate system of STAAD PRO and then apply the various load such as live load, dead load and apply various load combination in STAAD PRO and finally to determine the axial load of column and then after with help of axial load to find the size of footing for both structure R.C.C and composite structure. Separately find the axial load for both structures with help of STAAD PRO. And finally to compare the size of footing for both structure and also to carried out the quantity and rate analysis of footing for both structure and finally to compare the both structure according to footing cost and finally to decided which structure are economy based on this project performance. Hence all analysis of building according to axial load of column and also according to required quantity of R.C.C work & steel reinforcement to finally determine the cost of both structure and final result is the cost of R.C.C structure is more compare to cost of composite structure.
