To expose student to Management experience and knowledge, which is required in industry, where these are not taught in lectures room. To use the experienced gained from the industrial training in discussion held in the lecture rooms. To get a feel of the work environment. To gain experience in writing report in Management works / project. To expose students to the managerial responsibilities and ethics. To expose the student to future employers and their activities.
With all the experience and knowledge acquired, it is hoped at the student will able to choose appropriate work upon graduation. Industrial training also provides a systematic introduction to the ways of industry and developing talent and attitudes, so that one can understand how Human Resource Development works. Systematic introduction to the ways of industry and developing talent and attitudes, so that he / she can enjoy fully, a career in Management while recognizing his / her responsibilities as a professional of the future.
OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
There are two types of objectives.
Primary objective
Secondary Objective
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To attain the practical knowledge about the paper industry.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE
To learn about the company manufacturing process.
To aware about raw material requirements.
To identified financial position of the company.
Production of the paper process by using the uniform quantity and quality.
SCOPES OF TRAINING
The training done here will be of great importance in the future for the organization and also to the trainees in the future. The training has great scope and level ahead as it reveals the chances of improvement to the organization and also to the trainees in their future job as an experience. The training has use in allocating effectives resources available to the organization. This training is useful in getting new experience and job practical environments, it also useful in experience new technologies used and new techniques of training and development.
It identifies performance areas or programs within an organization where training should be applied. A needs analysis gathers information about present practices and compares these practices to the desires way of doing business. The different between where you are now and where you want to be defines where a training program should concentrate its effort. This information also established a baseline against which training accomplishment can be measured. If you know where you started, it is easier to determine if your training has been effectives. A needs analysis may identify more than one training need. These needs should be prioritized, and either placed into a formal training plan, or from a data base for future training. Training need is utilized to identify what training workshops or activities should be provided to employees to improve their work productivity. Focus should be placed on needs as opposed to desires.
1.4 LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
Any research study would face certain limitations technical (or) procedure (or) otherwise.
The present study has not been and expectation to this rule and had come across certain limitations. The following are few of such limitations.
The research study is limited to Day shift employees only.
The study is conducted by short period so enough data scarcity for demand in the company.
