The safety systems so that immediate actions are taken should the process
Control systems fail.
OBJECTIVE&SCOPE:
Our objective is to build a cost effective industrial safety system using microcontroller to monitor and alarm the presence of Fire and flammable gas in the industries. Thereby providing the safety mechanism to an industry and also acquiring the hands on experience of building microcontroller based system.
Scope of the project is to design the required hardware and develop the
Control application (software) to create demo version of the product
WORKING:
Dramatic shifts in electronics technology years have affected the design of industrial safety systems for oil/gas applications, as well as applications in other process industries. Safety instruments are installed for the protection of personnel and property, environment usually under state or federal regulations. The project involves the safety system in industries like oil, nuclear plants and gas applications. Here we are most concentrating on temperature and flammable gas produced while the constant monitoring is not possible so we are implementing a safety system concerned with these topics. Here initially maximum temperature is set when the system is going to start up the room temperature in degree Celsius is to be displayed on LCD, the gas should notify that the high gas. When we give some heat i.e. through external source to temperature sensor(LM35) it gradually increase in temperature is displayed on LCD at certain extent microcontroller updates the values every time when it cross our maximum temperature then it will give alarm that announce that temperature is high. Likewise gas sensor when gas/smoke produced it senses that it harmful is leaking out then microcontroller observes this situation and sends message to speaker that announce the High gas and also message is displayed on LCD screen.
