Abstracts: Concrete is second material after water which is maximum used on the planet earth. In the most structural application concrete is employed primarily to resist compressive stresses. Sometimes the strength in tension or in shear is also of secondary importance. In India method for analysis in concrete mix design is carried out in accordance with IS-10262-2009. Concrete is composed principally of aggregates, Portland cement and water. These ingredients together provide the concrete its strength, i.e. compressive strength. The tensile strength or flexure strength of such a concrete is generally low and hence cannot be used where flexural strength is also an important requirement, such as highway and pavements. In the present study an attempt is made to make use of the natural fiber such as coconut coir and sugarcane water as an additive to increase the flexural strength of the concrete. The performance and economic feasibility of such concrete product will be evaluated, by carrying out various tests with varied proportions.
