Personality
When people say “ he has a good personality” they probably refer to the persons physical appearance.
When someone says that Mr. should have a more dynamic personality , what is meant is the desired behaviour of X and so on.
Psychologist have attempted to describe personality in terms of standard traits.
Personality is a relatively stable set of characteristics that influences an individual's behavior. Family influences, cultural influences, educational influences, and environmental forces all shape personality
What is Personality?
The sum total of ways in which an individual reacts and interacts with others; measurable traits a person exhibits.

Enduring characteristics that describe an individual’s behavior.
Type Theory
Individual are characterized based on their physical characteristics.
Short plump person – Endomorph – Sociable, Relaxed, even – tempered
A tall, thin – Endomorph – Restrained, Self conscious, fond of solitude
Heavy muscular individual – Mesomorph – noisy, callous, and fond of physical activity
Extrovert and Introvert – Sociability, and interpersonal orientation
Extroverts - Comfort level with relationships. Extraverts tend to be gregarious, assertive, and sociable.
Introverts tend to be reserved, timid, and quiet.
Great sensitivity, concern for feelings, comfortable dealing with abstract things, shy, quiet, and retiring.
Risk taking
The inclination to assume or avoid risk has been shown to have an impact on how long it takes managers to make a decision and how much information they require before making their choice.
High risk-taking managers made more rapid decisions and used less information in making their choices.
While managers in organizations are generally risk-aversive, there are still individual differences on this dimension..
