Introduction: The prime objective in the minds of industrialist is to reduce the work more manually, which consumes a lot of time and does not achieve accuracy. The industrialists prefer machines which facilities the work with higher accuracy. It would be of great intersect to know that in some fields the machines even substitute the man who, results in desired accuracy and faster of production rate. THEORY OF BENDING:- Whenever a bend has to be made i.e. whenever a tube or any section is forced from a straight course to an altered part the structure of undergoes a certain change because the inner & outer side of the machine are compressed & stretched respectively. In engineering practice the machine parts or structural member may subjected to static and dynamic loading which causes bending stress in section besides other types stresses such as tensile and compressive shear stresses.

WORKING:
Forming sheet metal cylinders is an important activity for which "SHEET ROLLING MACHINE" is required. In its operation the sheet of metal to be formed is inserted from front of the machine and passes through the two front gripping rollers securing uniform pressure of rollers on material through pressure adjusting screw; so that sheet will ride through rolls freely.
The sheet is passing through gripping rolls strikes the top or forming rolls, if adjusted properly it will form a circle. Raising or lowering of the adjustable forming roller will give different diameter of cylinder.
Machine is power operated run by a motor that drives a worm gear box whose output shaft is connected to the gripping roller gear train. The pressure or forming roller is adjusted by means of pressure adjusting screws.
Another feature is corporated in material is that of "BEEDING". In beeding operations, an semicircular groove is formed on the sheet metal that gives strength and stiffness to the sheet metal component formed.
For beeding operation the male and female beeding rollers are fitten on the gripping rollers on the other side of gear train and the sheet metal to be beeded passed through the two rollers.
