Abstracts: The increasing number of robbery cases in banks has become a major security concern for the nationalized banks and the government. In order to curb down these incidences there is an approach made by devising a new security system. The system uses PIR Sensors (Passive InfraRed Sensor) to detect any kind of human intrusion inside the bank within the perimeter of the whole building which detects the thermal change in the atmosphere or the change in background temperature within its range. If any person enters the bank during night time then that person is detected through these sensors and immediately the security alarms get turned on as a part of its protocol under security breach and simultaneously the GSM Module (Global System for Mobile) connected to it gives out an automated call to the Branch Manager of the bank with an sms (short message service) followed after the call which informs him about the security breach that has occurred at that time inside the bank. Meanwhile the module also calls to the police station by which the police can arrive as fast as possible to the spot. During daytime the bank is also enabled with a sophisticated power management system which can automatically turn on the lights and fans inside the cabin of an employee as soon as he/she enters his/her cabin and similarly switch it off automatically after he/she leaves from the cabin. Moreover this automatic switching of the lights and fans applies to the customer waiting area too. The data of all these areas are monitored on an LCD at one place which receives the signals through a Bluetooth module.
