Abstracts: Quality and productivity plays important role in today's manufacturing market. From customer’s view point quality is very important because of extent of quality of procured product influences the degree of certification of consumers during usage of procured goods, so every manufacturing or production unit concern about quality of product. In this project we have used CNC MILLING MACHINE for optimization of surface roughness and material removal rate (MRR) of work piece material. Our first motive is to select work piece material and selection of any one optimization method for study surface roughness, so we select ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and our work piece material is ALUMINIUM ALLOY 1050 H-14. After this next objective is to study process and machining parameters of milling like spindle speed, feed rate and depth of cut on CNC milling machine. The study aimed at evaluating the best process which satisfy requirement of quality.The predicted optimal setting ensured minimization of surface roughness. In the end our next objective is calculate material removal rate (MRR) related with performance parameters based upon experimental investigation.
