Abstracts: Energy efficiency of a building seems to be an important key point for whole building and construction industry in future. Therefore, new concepts of building construction are needed. Buildings are the leading energy consumers in modern cities account upto 40-50% energy consumption. Their consumption can be largely cut back through improving efficiency of building in terms of energy, which is an effective means to diminish the emission of greenhouse gas and slow down reduction of non-renewable energy resources. Improving energy efficiency of buildings in the future by providing better thermal insulation and partly new heating and cooling solution will bring unavoidable changes in structural and building service system design practice. Therefore there is an obvious need to evaluate the future design and dimensioning criteria for structural and building service system- especially from an occupant point of view. The purpose of this report is to making the decisions that lead to conservation of energy and the efficient use of resources to provide a sustainable future. A combination of the guidelines and design features this study has the potential to make the building energy efficient.
