Abstracts: The objective of the present work is fly ash based geopolymer concrete prepared with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and sodium silicate (Na2Sio3) as alkaline activators. The aim of this work is to make and to study the different properties of geopolymer concrete using the Thermal Power Plant fly ash (Wanakbori) Gujarat, and Megamix R.M.C. plant, (Ahmedabad, India) and the other ingredients locally available in Gujarat. In this experimental work different parameters were used such as alkaline solution to fly ash ratio was fixed at 0.5 and different molarity of sodium hydroxide solution, different ratio of sodium silicate to sodium hydroxide, curing temperature, curing time etc. Strength increases with increasing the molarity of sodium hydroxide. Compressive strength was found to be maximum when sodium silicate to sodium hydroxide ratio was 2.0 for all molarity of sodium hydroxide. Permeability was very low for 8M of NaOH, it was good durability but strength was decreased.
