INTRODUCTION
Polymer is molecule or macromolecule which is composed of many repeated subunits.
Polymer modified concrete is that polymer is added into concrete which gives dispersion effect after adding into the cement or mortar.
Steel fiber reinforced concretes are structural materials that are gaining importance quite rapidly due to the increasing demand of superior structural properties.
Materials: The cementitious material used in the test was ordinary Portland cement.
The coarse aggregate was crushed limestone with a maximum size of 12 mm.
PMC is defined as the combination of cement with organic polymer which are going to disperse or redispersed while addition with aggregate.
TYPES OF POLYMER MODIFIED CONCRETE:-
· Styrene Butadiene Co polymers.
· Acrylic ester homo polymer
· Vinyl acetate co polymers
· Vinyl acetate homo polymers
To the steel fibre reinforced concrete a styrene butadiene rubber emulsion was added and the properties of such polymer modified steel fibre reinforced concrete (PSFC) are studied.

ADVANTAGES AND DIS ADVANTAGES OF PMSFRC
ADVANTAGES
Polymer fiber are mostly used in concrete to control cracking due to both plastic and drying shrinkage.
They are also reduce the permeability of concrete and thus reduce bleeding of water.
Some types of fibers produce greater impact, abrasion and shatter resistance in concrete.
DIS ADVANTAGES:-
Greater reduction of permeability.
The cost of materials is high.
conclusion
Addition of steel fibers to a concrete will improve both its flexural and compressive strength.
The strengths increase significantly with fiber content.
The flexural strength increases greatly when containing 3-10 wt.% SBR. The optimal use of SBR is 5 wt.%, which achieves the highest flexural strength.
However, the compressive strength may decrease with the addition arrives 10 wt.%, a 16% reduction is observed.
The addition of polymer will go to improve workability flexural strength, tensile strength and bond strength.
The overall porosity increases with the increasing dosage of SBR
