Definition:-
Retailing is all about the sell of good and services to final consumer for their own personal use. Retailing is all about the distribution of good and services because it play an important role in journey that product goes from a manufacturer to the person who consume.
Another thing is that Retailing is not only the selling of tangible product like cloths ,shoes but also to the selling of services like haircut. A Retailer is a person , agent , company or organization who is instrumental in reaching goods, merchandise or service to the ultimate consumer.
It not only the sale of good in store but it also include the sale of services like services offered at a restaurant, parlor or car rental agency.
Super Market:-
A Retail Store which generally sells food product & household items, properly placed & arranged in specific department is called a supermarket. A Supermarket is an advance form of the small category stores & cater to the household needs of the consumer.

Warehouse Store:-
A Retail format which sells limited stock in bulk at a discounted rate is called a warehouse store. They are not botther about the interior of the store & the product are not properly displayed.
Specialty Store:-
Specialty store specialize in a particular product and would not sell anything else apart from the specific range
Example:- Rebook merchandise at Rebook store and nothing else.
