General specifications:- General specification gives the nature and class of work material used to be in the various part of work from foundation to the super structure and generally attached with rough cost of detailed estimate. Super structure:- super structure should be of first class brick work in cement mortar 1:5 unless otherwise specified bricks shall be laid in English bond with frog upward horizontal joints must be parallel and vertical joint must be laid.
The super structure of building usually consists of walls, floor, doors etc.200mm thick brick masonry partition walls using bricks of class designation 75 laid in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with 2 No. 6mm dia. bars or MS flat 1" x 1/8" at every 4th layer including curing, scaffolding etc. complete (M.S. flat or bars shall be provided by the clients free of cost).
Damp proofing coarse:- 40mm thick HDPCin cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand/stone dust: 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm and down gauge) including shuttering, curing and two coats hot bitumen of penetration 80/100 applied at the rate of 165 Kg. per square mtr for each layer after cleaning the surface with brush and finally with a piece of cloth slightly soaked in kerosene oil.
The vertical dpc shall comprise of 20mm thick cement plaster.
Roofing:- Tile trassing supported on r.c.c beam are provided. the coarse will consist of
20x10x5cm tiles laid over 2.5 cm mud plaster and two coat of bitumen laid hot 1.65kg/sqm.
Flooring Work:- 100mm thick cement concrete under floor in 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 stone aggregate of 40mm & down gauge), laid cured, rammed complete.
flooring in C.C. 1:2:4 ( 1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and top finished with neat cement, laid, cured complete .
Door and window:- The inside door shall consist of paneled door and all outer door window almiras shall consist of teak wood well seasoned paneled and glazed as per drawing etc.
Finishing work:- The inner and outer walls should have 12.5mm th. Cement plaster 1:6 bed room shall be distempred two coats and other white washed 3 coats ,outside wall shall be colured washed two coats over one coat of white wash 10mm thick cement plaster 1:4 is provided on r.c.c work outside will be finished with cement pointing 1:4 deep varity journey will be painted as per shade specified by the architect as directed by the engineer.
Painting:- All the door and window shall be Painted 2 coat of priming the surface of timber and steel work in a building are not weather resisting . the timber is not liable to decay the steel structure may be .rustly to prevent this surface of such material are covered with specified paint.

Earth work in Excavation in foundation
