Abstracts: Steel roof truss structures are to be designed and constructed to satisfy the design requirements with regard tostability, strength, serviceability, axial forces, displacement, fatigue and ductility. Industries, Railway yards, bridges and transmission tower will be required more span, length and also proper ventilation. This purpose will be fulfilled by large Industrial Roof trusses. we will going to design compound fink and howe trusses than after we will going to analyze the both by using Manually & STAAD PRO. This project will be compare the two Industrial roof trusses also calculate the connection design of particular members and using the STAAD PRO. software for analysis purpose. Main object of this project is quantity comparison of both roof trusses. In the first chapter a brief introduction of roof truss with its member (tension & compression) & STAAD PRO. Software. literature review in the chapter - 2. The formation for analysis and design of howe type & compound fink roof truss is presented in chapter – 3&4. Design of member is presented in chapter 5. Typical problem is solved using both the done methods in chapter - 6. Quantity of both truss is presented in chapter 7. Conclusion chapter 8.
