INTRODUCTION
The project mainly emphasises on the use of alternatives for fine aggregate for its replacement in concrete and hence improvising the strength.
In the days of expansion of industry the gradual application of natural sand work has failed to keep pace with the various sectors of modern development needs.
There is scarcity of natural sand due to heavy demand and prices have began to rise year after year. Thus the project is experimental which will help in the reduction of use of natural sand yet gives the required strength.
AIM & OBJECTIVES
To make maximum and best use of available materials generated during quarrying and crushing of stone aggregates.”
In the present project an attempt is being made to utilize the following products in different activities of building construction.
Crusher dust is used as partial replacement for fine aggregate, thus reducing the dependency on the natural river sand which is Non-renewable.
Artificial or Robosand is used to replace substantial amount of fine aggregate being consumed in a construction site.
PROJECT PROGRESS
The physical properties of the materials that are being used in the project is determined as per IS specifications.
The mix proportions are arrived at as per IS 456:2000 and IS 10262:2000.
